 SoLD vs BL, 10-30 NSW in Cathedral. SoLD - Order, 210 levels (7 people). BL - Balance, 210 levels (7 people). With all due respect to our BL friends, this was a match SoLD controlled. Our defence held out very well from the word go, and we were only shrined a few times - and only one of those looked remotely worrying, when we were down to around 15 on the timer. On attack, we were massively overpowered by a big BL defence, and were only managing little hits every time we got through without many close moments. At one point we did manage to get the timer down to only a few seconds, after the attack had split up to get past the wall of BL defenders. Finally, after 20 minutes, the SoLD attack managed to get in all in one piece and with fairly decent mana to use over the ensuing battle, and between us we managed to stay alive for a while and outshrine the BLs who had rushed back to try to save the day. A good win, maybe we're now back on track in this event. ~ Tel |
