 SoLD vs TB, 10-30 NSW, Cats. SoLD - Balance. 6 Players, 180 levels. TB - Chaos. 5 players, 150 levels. This was another quick match. TB were 3 players down (would have been 2 but Bentley was booted before the match and didn't get back). SoLD were down 2 players (would have been 1 but Elaith was booted before the match and didn't get back). We obviously had the advantage with an extra player and we made it count, though TB gave it their best shot. On defence we were attacked by a couple of TB at a time, but managed to fight them off before they could damage our shrine at any point. On attack we were managing to damage theirs on and off for the first couple of minutes and had them struggling to cope. During the 4th minute of the match we managed to destroy their shrine totally and keep it held down. They came at us with 3 people in a last ditch attempt to save it, and one of them even made it as far as our shrine pillar in one piece, but the clock hit 0 just then and it was too late. It should be noted that TB were friendly throughout and didn't so much as even mention in passing that they had a player less than us. If they're like that every week, they deserve a win or two in this event at some point. ~ Tel |
