el is the third SoLD to have won a beta key in the Guild Wars Underground caption competition.
We've entered a few more contests, so hopefully we'll be able to put some more good news up here soon...

2005-02-05 / Guild Wars Apprentices

e have our first two apprentices for Guild Wars, despite the fact we're not fully in there yet. We will be considering the applications of Felix and Azuth for that game over the first few weeks we play it. Good luck to them.

2005-01-30 / Speaking of Caption Competition,...

uildWars Underground held a GuildWars themed caption competition on their website, and Jochen and me both were among the 10 winners of a beta key for the upcoming event. This means that we can invite two more friends to join us for that next (last?) beta weekend, which is quite nifty in terms of putting together our team, the SoLD Guildwarriors.

2005-01-23 / Guild Emblem Contest

rena.net, the creators of GuildWars, are holding a contest where GuildWars players are asked to send in their own designs for Guild Emblems. The winning emblems make it into the final release of the game.
I've created one, matching our old Magestorm emblem, the Balance/scales - might not win, but had to try :)
You can find the Balance emblem and details about the contest on the new "GuildWars events" page in the menu.

2005-01-22 / Preparing for the Guild Wars

inally we decided on the next "big" game to give a try, and as such, we'll be around in the final Beta events of GW before its forthcoming full release.
You may well find us in the full game if we're keen on what we see in the events.
